Dietician Training Program

I am Kamala Saha, a renal nutritionist. I have completed my graduation and post graduation in Food and Nutrition from Calcutta University. After masters, I luckily got an opportunity to work as a trainee dietician at ILS hospital, dumdum Nagerbazar, Kolkata under the guidance of Dr.PratimSengupta and Dietician Riya Brahma. Dr. Sengupta has inspired me and have motivated me. I remember his words "always treat a patient as your family member”, and I still follow it. Smile in the face of patients and their family members encourage me and give me immense satisfaction to work in this field. I am thankful to Dr.Sengupta for providing me this opportunity to be a part of his team.

I am Olivya Chandra as to my personal experience during internship in ILSD under Dr. P. Sengupta& Dt. Riya Brahma was very conducive and commendable. Presently I'm working as a Nutritionist in a MNC pharma co. and I'll appreciate their effort and guidance for the initial phase of my career. I got to collect ample amount of knowledge regarding dietetics with both practical and theoretical aspects. Apart from this, the step by step procedures of patient assessment, counselling, diet therapy and follow ups helped me to render service to the patient community to then and now.

I'm Suranjana Karan.I have done my dietician internship from Dumdum ILS hospital under nephrologist Dr.Pratim Sengupta and head dietician miss Riya Brahma. After joining this hospital a good environment helps me to learn about my subject. I'm also thankful to my respected sir for his cordial behavior and many valuable speech about health consciousness of patients. My senior dietician helps me how to counselling a patients & how to make a diet chart of renal patients and general patients.I gathered so much experience to treat the patient practically and it elongated my path as a dietician in future. Thank you.

I am Shrabanti Chowdhury , completed my B.sc and M.sc in Food and Nutrition and after that got an opportunity to do an internship as a renal dietician at ILS Hospital Dudum under the guidance of senior Dt. Riya Brahma and Dr.Pratimsengupta. I have learned lots of practical knowledge like assessment and screening of the kidney patient, diet councelling, diet chart making even communication skill and behavioural approach and hospitality skill also developed from my senior Dt. Riya Brahma and I also very much thankful to Dr.PratimSengupta for his guidance and who enrich my knowledge about nephrology ,his inspiration and his new thought motivated me. At present I’m working as a renal nutritionist under Dr. Pratim Sengupta.I Want to give my warm gratitude to all my senior dietician and Dr team who helps me lots during six month internship .

I, Shampa Mondal, completed my internship from ILS Hospitals, Dumdum in Dietetics Department for 7 months under Dr. Pratim Sengupta and renal dietician Riya Brahma. When I started my internship, I was very nervous and didn't work properly. But gradually I learned so much and gained experience throughout my journey under the inspiring guidance of Dr.Pratim Sengupta, Riya di, other senior dieticians and friends. This internship helps me to become a dietician. Besides this, I am more confident now, my communication skills have improved and I feel enthusiastic and positive to accept challenges. I am blessed to have some great persons as my mentors. I am thankful to all for helping me to complete the internship with good memories.

I am Satarupa Ghosh. I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity as an intern at ILS hospital Dumdum under Dt. Riya Brahma & nephrologist Dr.Pratim Sengupta& all the senior dieticians. I have gained valuable knowledge about dietetics in both practical & theoretical aspects and got chance to interact with the patients as well. This internship has increased my interest in pursuing carrier as a dietician. I would love to stay in touch with everyone in future.

I, Moumita Sharma, completed my internship as a dietician under the guidance of nephrologist Dr. Pratim Sengupta and senior dietician Miss. Riya Brahma. I gathered lots of practical experience which would never possible without this opportunity.. Currently, I am working as a dietician under their supervision and it is an ample opportunity for me.

I am Debapriya Saha and I have done my internship from Dumdum ILS hospital, Nagerbazar, Kolkata under Nephrologist Dr Pratim Sengupta and senior dietician miss Riya Brahma. I am very thankful to my respected sir and mam that I got the chance to gain a clear knowledge about dietetics and also learn how to prepare a diet chart of renal patients and also for general patients. I'm Minu Mitra , completed my internship as dietician from ILS hospital dumdum which was conducted by nephrologist dr. Pratim Sengupta& head dietician miss riya brahma . I'm lucky to got that chance because renal nutrition is an important part to prevent disease from the other diseases. Thanks to all my senior dietician they helped to collect vast knowledge regarding practical aspect of dietetics, diet chart making , patients counselling, nutritional assessment etc. and Dr. Pratim Sengupta sir ,who helped me to enrich my knowledge by his extraordinary thinking, research work theory and practical classes . This training will help me to start a good career in future .
