The table is set. The people of Israel accept Jesus as king, and his disciples expect him to crown them. But instead of confronting Rome, he turns the tables on them and addresses the Jewish religious holiday. With their power under threat, the country’s religious and political leaders will do anything to ensure that this Passover meal is Jesus’ last supper.
